Cooking on the Grill

This morning for breakfast I had the yummiest oatmeal ever. I put cinnamon, frozen blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, and some farmers market apricot slices. It tasted brilliant and filled me up just right.

image.jpegFor Labor Day weekend, we are at our cabin in Seeley Lake, Montana. Outside our cabin, we have a really neat outdoor fire stove that we can cook on.


For dinner we cooked salmon, shrimp, eggplant, and squash over the grill. We marinated the salmon and shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, and dried parsley, basil, and oregano flakes. image.jpegWe also made a stir fry, on the regular stove, with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and carrots. We seasoned that with the same herbs and olive oil as well.


It all tasted amazing. I learned how to cook over an outdoor fire stove with my dad today, and it makes food taste amazing. It was super cool. I will definitely be doing it again. Have a great Labor Day everyone!
