Today for lunch, I made a salad in a jar. I made a simple green cabbage slaw with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. I layered it with carrots, romaine lettuce, green onions, brown rice, and hard boiled egg.
It was so delicious and filling. In my opinion, jars are a wonderful and adorable way to pack lunches. Layering ingredients in a jar like this is a very easy way to pack an awesome, portable lunch. You can pack it with fruit and yogurt, stir fries, salads, and so much more!
