Balanced Meals

Today in health class, we talked about the importance of having a balanced, nutritious meal. We read an article about having a balance of all the nutrients your body needs. It used a turkey sandwich on wheat bread as an example. The turkey serves as a protein, the bread serves as a grain, and you can add something like avocado to serve as a healthy fat.

I know a lot about balancing meals, but I don’t think many of my classmates do. I think it’s really awesome and important that we were taught that. We all need to know how to fuel our bodies properly.
