This summer, our friend from San Francisco came to visit us. She is originally from Bangladore, India. She is a very good cook and cooks ethnically at home. Even though she has lived in San Francisco, she still brings Indian flavor and culture to her dishes. She knows a lot about cooking and made very good food when she was here.
She made us something that comes in so much handy in the kitchen. One night, she peeled so much ginger and so many cloves of garlic and put them in the blender. It blended into a paste. We use it a lot in stir fries, and my mom sometimes even eats small spoonfuls of it! It adds so much flavor to a dish, and these ingredients are great for digestion. I think it’s a great ingredient to have in the fridge because it keeps well and it is so tasty!
