Cronuts

A cronut it a croissant-doughnut pastry invented right here in New York City by a pastry chef named Dominique Ansel. The cronut was trademarked by his bakery, Dominique Ansel Bakery. The pastry resembles a doughnut and is made from croissant like dough. They are filled with flavored cream and fried in oil. Cronuts sound delicious. I think it’s brilliant that he combined two popular treats and made something even more amazing.
