When There’s Nothing in the Pantry

It is really hard to think of healthy, satisfying meals when the pantry isn’t full. Our pantry is pretty bare right now. A trip to the grocery store is in the near future.

There is always something that can be made, believe it or not. I’m always finding something in the back of the pantry that comes in handy. The falafel mix is a good example. Tonight for dinner, I made a tuna melt and steamed some vegetables. We had a can of tuna, cheese, bread, and vegetables. It was tasty, delicious, and can be made with simple ingredients. I encourage you to try to use your creativity even when you don’t have a ton of ingredients.
