My mom and I made chocolates tonight. We really love dark chocolate because it is a sweet antioxidant that makes a nice treat. By dark chocolate I mean really dark. We like to get 70%-80%. However it can be fairly expensive. My mom found a very creative solution.
She found a recipe to make our own. This way we can control the cocoa amount and know what is going into the chocolate at a cheaper cost. The recipe is super simple. It’s just coconut oil, cocoa powder, vanilla, honey, and a pinch of salt. We combined this and poured it into a mold and let it sit for about an hour. It’s brilliant! All the ingredients are healthy and making something for yourself is really fun.
