Sugars naturally occurring in fruits, vegetables and dairy are okay but sugars removed from their original source and added to foods, we need to be wary of. There are many different names for added sugars such as fructose, sucrose, and galactose. Always try to stay away from added sugars in the ingredients list when shopping. Some products may have a little bit of sugar in them but thats okay, try to avoid being extreme if you can. When I’m craving something sweet I like to eat some fruit, dark chocolate, milk, or tea.
