With this new paleo diet that my Dad’s trying out, there is a lot of alternatives for food that the diet doesn’t allow. He uses arrowroot instead of cornstarch to thicken sauces. He uses coconut aminos to add a healthy flavor. He got gluten free, low sodium soy sauce. He made his famous ginger beef, kale, mushroom stir fry tonight. The recipe had to be altered to be made paleo and he did it. Also, my dad would normally eat it with white rice but today he chose brown. I’m so proud!
