Brown Rice Vs. White Rice

With this paleo diet, my dad has deeveloped a craving for more healthy food. We have been eating brown rice lately. Tonight, he told me that he loves it so much more than white rice. He thinks that it has more of a flavor without adding anything to it like sauce.

Brown rice is a whole grain which means it contains every part of the grain. White rice, however, has many of the nutritious parts removed. This leaves white rice with very few essential nutrients, which is why brown rice is usually considered much healthier than white rice. Brown rice is also an excellent source of fiber and antioxidants and it has many key vitamins and minerals.
