Today, my mom and I made sugar cookies. We made them for her 4th grade class. They may not be the healthiest treat, but they deserve it.
They are learning fractions in math. I thought it would be a good idea to bring in the recipe to show the kids. They could work to half the recipe, double it, and break down the recipe into factions. My mom thought it would be fun for them.
Math and science are huge parts of cooking. They are very important fields in cooking right and for recipes to turn out. Chefs are just as much mathematicians and scientists!
