Food During World War I

In English class, we have been studying World War I. I chose to research the food that they ate and man am I grateful that I didn’t live in the 1900s during the wars. They had to ration food and make many recipe substitutions. They used things like potato flour. It is really interesting to learn about what it was like. We are very fortunate to have the food privileges we do today.
