Today was my last day of 7th grade. That means this is my last post on this blog. I am very sad to make this announcement. It has been a wonderful experience.
I’m surprised I remembered to post every night honestly! Sometimes, on the days I didn’t cook or have a food experience, it was hard to figure out what to blog about. I had such a blast throughout this whole year.
I want to thank everyone who follows my blog and has read my posts. It means so much to me. I am so happy to have been able to share my food experiences in 7th grade with everybody. I hope everyone has an awesome, healthy (I had to add that) summer. Happy cooking and happy eating!

Hi! My name is Chloe Long. I am 12 years old, and I am going into 7th grade. Three summers ago, I was the winner from the state of Montana for the Healthy Kids Lunchtime Challenge. I entered an original recipe called "What You Don't Like Tofu?!" Stir fry. I got to go to a lunch with 53 other winners (from 50 other United States and 4 territories) at the White House. We got to meet Michelle Obama, and she dined with us as well. It was an amazing, unforgettable experience.
I have always been into cooking and healthy eating, but this past summer I really got into it. I love to cook meals to my liking, and health is very important to me. Exercising and eating healthy food keeps me feeling great and energized. I decided to start this blog to teach other young kids about the importance in healthy eating, and how fun cooking for yourself, family, and friends can be.
I will be posting recipes, pictures, and facts about my meals that I make through out the upcoming school year. It can be hard to have good, healthy meals when you have a busy schedule. I will be giving tips and tricks for packable lunches, energizing breakfasts, and great dinners.
With a combination of exercise and awesome food, I hope everyone has a wonderful, healthy school year. Happy cooking!
